About Charlotte Vibes
Charlotte Vibes is a Charlotte-based team of friends and partners who genuinely love this city. We spend a lot of time around Charlotte and see firsthand how much is constantly happening here. We created Charlotte Vibes because we want more people to experience that side of the city.
We've heard people say Charlotte is boring or compare it with cities like Atlanta that may appear to have more going on. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but that description has never matched the Charlotte we know. Restaurants, bars, lounges, clubs, theaters, parks, museums, sports venues, hotels, festivals, concerts, and local businesses give people something different to experience throughout the city every day.
The real problem is often knowing what is happening and where to go. Great events can happen without someone ever hearing about them, and excellent businesses can sit right around the corner from people who have never walked through the door. Charlotte Vibes exists to help connect those dots by keeping people closer to the places, businesses, events, and experiences that make Charlotte what it is.
Our Mission
Our mission is to spread the good word about Charlotte to the people who live here and the people coming to visit. We want more people to understand how much the city has to offer. Charlotte is just as active as it is attractive.
There is always something happening, including concerts, sports games, festivals, parties, restaurant openings, new businesses, and neighborhood events. Some of those experiences are easy to find while others travel mostly through local networks and word of mouth. We want Charlotte Vibes to make those opportunities easier to discover before people miss the action.
We also want people to discover the businesses and personalities behind the city itself. Charlotte is growing because people are constantly building restaurants, shops, services, venues, entertainment concepts, and independent businesses throughout the area. Giving those people another place to tell their story is an important part of what Charlotte Vibes is here to do.
The Charlotte We Know
Charlotte can sometimes feel like an invitation-only city, especially when someone arrives without already knowing people here. A lot of information still moves through friends, social circles, neighborhoods, and people who simply know where the action is. That can make an active city feel much quieter than it actually is.
The truth is that Charlotte is a welcoming city with plenty of room for newcomers, visitors, longtime residents, and anyone else who wants to be part of it. You do not need to have grown up here or already know everyone in town to enjoy what Charlotte has to offer. You simply need a better way to find the places and experiences that fit what you are looking for.
That is the role we want Charlotte Vibes to play. We want locals to continue discovering their own city, new residents to find their place faster, and visitors to leave understanding why so many people choose Charlotte. The city may sometimes feel exclusive from the outside, but as far as we're concerned, everyone is invited.

The Charlotte Vibes Team
Charlotte Vibes combines online publishing with people who are actually active around the city. The website gives us a place to publish and organize what we find, while our relationships help us stay connected with businesses and people throughout Charlotte. Both sides are important to how Charlotte Vibes operates.
Robert Beadle
Robert manages the digital side of Charlotte Vibes, including the website, online marketing, SEO, content publishing, and overall web operations. He handles the technical work that keeps the site running and organizes content so people can discover Charlotte Vibes through search and other online channels. Much of the behind-the-scenes digital infrastructure of the company runs through his work.
Robert also coordinates business meetings, develops partnership opportunities, helps plan new projects, and manages the online execution needed to move those projects forward. His work connects web development, publishing, search visibility, business strategy, and day-to-day site management. If something is being built, published, optimized, or organized online for Charlotte Vibes, Robert is usually involved.
Von Prescod
Von is the people's champ and the public face of Charlotte Vibes. He seems to know somebody everywhere he goes and has built connections with people and businesses across the city. His personality makes it easy for Charlotte Vibes to connect naturally with the community instead of operating like a publication that only watches Charlotte from a distance.
Von is the person who can walk into a pizza shop, meet the owner, try the product, speak with customers, and turn the visit into a Charlotte Vibes experience on the spot. He is comfortable showing up, meeting new people, attending events, supporting businesses, and representing the brand throughout the city. Charlotte Vibes has a strong online presence, but Von gives the company its on-the-ground personality and face.
Charlotte Business Connections
Charlotte Vibes enjoys connecting with businesses that are actively contributing to the city. We especially appreciate independent owners and entrepreneurs who are building something of their own. Their businesses help create the personality of Charlotte.
That business might be a restaurant, barber shop, cafe, retail store, entertainment concept, venue, service company, or something completely different. We like learning what people are building, why they built it, and what makes their operation worth knowing about.
