Four Customers at Every Location Can Win Free Tacos for a Year

Tacos 4 Life announced the giveaway through its official social media channels ahead of National Taco Day. Instead of selecting one company-wide winner, the restaurant says four winners will be chosen at every participating location.

Loyalty members only need to check in with their account in-store or through the Tacos 4 Life app on October 5 or October 6 to be entered. Customers who already use the company’s rewards program can use their existing account, while new customers can join through the Tacos 4 Life app.

Tacos 4 Life hasn’t limited the celebration to National Taco Day itself. The giveaway begins Monday, October 5 and continues through Tuesday, October 6, which is National Taco Day in 2026.

National Taco Day Is Also a Good Time to Try the BBQ Pork Taco

Customers stopping by for the National Taco Day promotion can also try one of the newest additions to the current menu, the BBQ Pork Taco. It combines BBQ pulled pork with queso, BBQ sauce, fried onion rings, pickles, and a puffy tortilla.

That combination fits the style Tacos 4 Life has built its menu around. The company goes well beyond basic beef and chicken tacos with choices that mix Mexican-inspired ingredients with barbecue, seafood, Asian-inspired flavors, and Southern favorites.

Other current Steele Creek choices include the Mango Habanero, Chicken Bacon Ranch, Korean BBQ Steak, Chipotle Steak, Blackened Mahi-Mahi, Hawaiian Shrimp, Firecracker Shrimp, Carnitas, Crispy Eggplant, and Seared Tofu tacos. Burritos, quesadillas, nachos, rice bowls, salads, family packs, sides, and tacos by the dozen round out the menu.

Steele Creek Has Helped Provide More Than 1.02 Million Meals

The tacos are only one part of what makes this restaurant different. Since opening in Steele Creek in July 2023, customers at the Charlotte location have helped generate more than 1.02 million meals through the company’s Meal 4 Meal program.

Tacos 4 Life partners with Feed My Starving Children to connect restaurant purchases with hunger relief. For every qualifying taco, rice bowl, salad, quesadilla, or nachos purchased, Tacos 4 Life provides the funding needed for one meal to be packaged for a child in need.

Those meals are packed through Feed My Starving Children MobilePack events before being distributed through feeding programs, schools, orphanages, refugee camps, and other organizations around the world.

The impact now extends far beyond Steele Creek. Tacos 4 Life has helped provide more than 47.7 million meals company-wide, making Meal 4 Meal part of the restaurant’s everyday business rather than a temporary fundraiser or occasional promotion.

Tacos 4 Life Has Served Steele Creek Since 2023

Tacos 4 Life opened its Steele Creek restaurant in July 2023 at 4923 Trojan Drive, Suite 110. The location serves the growing southwest Charlotte area near Steele Creek Road, I-485, Berewick, Whitehall, and Charlotte Premium Outlets.

The company itself dates back to 2014, when founders Austin and Ashton Samuelson opened the first Tacos 4 Life restaurant in Conway, Arkansas. Their goal was to combine a restaurant business with a model that could consistently help fund meals for children facing hunger.

Charlotte has since become an important market for the company. Tacos 4 Life currently operates five North Carolina restaurants across the Charlotte region, including Steele Creek, Arboretum, Dilworth, Concord Mills, and Mooresville.

National Taco Day Arrives Tuesday, October 6

National Taco Day is now observed on the first Tuesday in October, putting the celebration on October 6 in 2026. Tacos 4 Life is getting an early start by opening its giveaway on Monday, October 5 and keeping entries open through National Taco Day.

For Steele Creek customers, that creates two reasons to visit. Loyalty members can check in for a chance to win free tacos for a year while also trying the current menu and contributing another qualifying meal to the restaurant’s Meal 4 Meal total.
