Texas Roadhouse is getting ready to open another Charlotte-area restaurant, this time in Steele Creek. The new location at 13425 Rigsby Road is scheduled to open Monday, November 9, inside a roughly 7,900-square-foot building that has been under construction since last year.
The chain is known for hand-cut steaks, ribs, a broad casual-dining menu, and fresh rolls served with cinnamon butter. Steele Creek joins existing Texas Roadhouse restaurants around the Charlotte region, including Matthews, Concord, Gastonia, Hickory, Salisbury, and Rock Hill.
Steele Creek Keeps Adding New Places to Eat
It’s an exciting stretch for people who live around Steele Creek. New businesses, especially restaurants, continue to fill in the area. EVO Kitchen & Co. opened nearby early last month and has already generated a huge Charlotte buzz, adding another dining option to a neighborhood that keeps expanding.

The opening also expands a brand that already has more than 700 locations worldwide and restaurants in 49 U.S. states. For Charlotte-area diners, the new Rigsby Road restaurant adds another Texas Roadhouse option on the southwest side of the city.
What to Know Before the November 9 Opening
Texas Roadhouse has posted regular operating hours for the Steele Creek location. The restaurant will open at 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, noon on Saturday, and 11 a.m. on Sunday. Friday and Saturday are the latest nights, with closing times of 11 p.m.
